NORTH Essex’s Ryman League teams have been finding out how they will start their 2016/7 campaigns with the release of the forthcoming season’s fixture lists.

WITHAM TOWN begin their division north season with an away day at Soham Town Rangers on August 13, before returning home the following Tuesday to face Bury Town.

BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT have an opening day derby in division north on August 13 as they travel to Park Drive to face MALDON & TIPTREE, before Regent move on to a home game against VCD Athletic three days later.

The Jammers’ second game will also be on August 16 when they make the trip to Ryman League new boys Norwich United.

HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS’ first week of division north action starts with a trip to Thamesmead Town on the first day and continues at Scraley Road on the Tuesday with a visit from Great Wakering Rovers.

All four teams conclude their opening weeks with action in the preliminary round of the FA Cup on August 20.

There will be a busy festive period in the Ryman League division north this year with action on Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and January 2 for the north Essex quartet.

On Boxing Day, the Heybridge against Maldon derby will take place at Scraley Road, while Regent head to Dereham Town and Witham host Brentwood Town.

New Year’s Eve action sees Brightlingsea hosting Heybridge, Witham making the long trip to up to Norwich United and Maldon at home against VCD Athletic.

And they all return to action two days later, with Witham at Bowers and Pitsea, Heybridge at Brentwood, Brightlingsea hosting Wroxham and Maldon and Tiptree entertaining Haringey Borough.

Easter Saturday, which is on April 15, sees Witham at home against Brightlingsea and Heybridge also at home against Norwich United, while Maldon travel to Romford.

However, the Jammers will be at home on Easter Monday as they host the derby against Heybridge and Brightlingsea are at home against Dereham Town, but Witham are on the road at Brentwood.

The Ryman League regular season is due to conclude on April 22 with Brightlingsea finishing on the road at Cheshunt, Maldon at Soham Town Rangers, Heybridge at home against Phoenix Sports and Witham hosting Waltham Abbey.
