TIPTREE Road Runners competed at the 53-12 Cross-Country League fixture at Hadleigh.

The club’s men finished second in Pool B.

Craig Dawson had one of the highest club finishes for many years, taking 13th place.

James Haskey-Jones was 26th, Paul Dellar 41st, Mark Lawes 93rd and Mark Shillaker 104th.

Other Tiptree finishers were John Yorston 120th, Richard Garrett 122nd, Iain Rhodes 130th, Simon Baker 131st and Jeff Fairfull 149th.

Tiptree’s ladies also finshed second in the team event. Kate Finch was 19th, Tracy Harrington 20th, Tracy Russell 46th, Lyndsey Rolerkite 49th, Lorraine Baker 54th, Paula Rothero 58th and Zoe Gould 63rd.

The junior team took fourth place with Tom Rehal claiming another victory in an exciting sprint finish.

Nick Baker finished 11th, Ben Pod 15th, Robin Matthews 44th, Rhys Vincent 48th, Georgina Haskey-Jones 53rd and James Yorston 69th.

At the Victoria Park 10K, Gary Perryman finished in 44m 26s.

The Maldon Prom Parkrun saw Graeme Moon finish in 22m 57s, Iain Rhodes 23m 42s and Peter Banks in a season’s best of 23m 45s.

Frances Gridley ran 24m 45s, Stacy Hember 26m 48s, Kim Broughton 32m 6s and Anita Leaver 36m 5s.

Anthony Knight finished the Cambridge Parkrun in 27m 28s with Finley Newman running 28m 10s.

Tim Ford ran his fastest time for over a year at the Southampton Common Parkrun, finishing in 22m 30s.
