They finished in 34m 59s.

Earlier, the club presented ten-year-old Tom Miller, of Langford, with a £200 cheque, part of the profits from the annual Tiptree ten-mile race.

Tom’s burning ambition is to compete in wheelchair racing at a future Paralympics.

He was born three and a half months prematurely and suffers from cerebral palsy, but is a keen racer who currently trains at Harlow with older competitors.

He hopes to obtain a proper racing wheelchair thanks to donations like this one.
