Cliff Akurang's hat-trick and a goal from Tunde Adewunni helped Alan Kimble’s side to a 4-2 win at Cheshunt as the Jammers moved up to 17th in the table.
That has put them one place above local rivals Heybridge Swifts, who came from behind to claim a share of the spoils at Scraley Road.
Nikki Beales did put the hosts ahead against Soham Town Rangers in the 14th minute, but they found themselves trailing 3-1 as the visitors hit three goals in eight minutes before the break.
However, Joe Pearman’s 56th minute penalty halved the deficit and Chris Bryan struck with seven minutes left to earn a point for Keith Wilson’s team.
