AN exciting music event described as the “party of the summer” is returning to Maldon's Promenade Park.

Open-air concert Classic Ibiza is a 32-piece live orchestra accompanied by DJs and vocalists.

They will be reimagining some of the biggest dance hits of the past 30 years.

In addition to Classic Ibiza’s headline performance, there will also be special guest support acts performing at the event, such as Baby D and Wideboys.

Concert-goers will experience a full festival style site with glitter make-up stalls, roaming entertainers and a number of bars and street food outlets.

Anthony Ellis, the event organiser, said he is looking forward to the dance party making its return to Promenade Park.

He said: “We have toured this show to sell-out crowds all over the UK and cannot wait to bring it back to Maldon after a very successful first year last year.

“The audience have got a great night in store, with some of the biggest dance anthems ever being brought to orchestral life on stage.

“Get ready for goosebumps, it’s going to be a night to remember.”

Those looking forward to the event can start making their plans, as tickets are on sale now, starting from £32.50.

There is also a chance for some fans to enjoy access to exclusive perks.

Those looking to “level up” their Classic Ibiza experience can also buy a wristband for the Golden Circle VIP.

This is a secluded hangout area providing an escape from the crowds, premium bars and access to the front of stage.

The strictly over-18s event is coming to Promenade Park on Friday, June 7.

Gates open at 4pm, with bars and DJs starting from the same time.

The Urban Soul Orchestra will take to the stage at 7.30pm.

Last year’s Classic Ibiza orchestra dance party took place back to back with the popular Soultasia festival and featured a performance from Artful Dodger.
