The Christmas Party on Tuesday was a very lively and noisy evening, with 29 ladies filling the Club Room to capacity.

Everyone brought some food, providing a great feast of tasty goodies, and it all started with a warming glass of mulled wine on a cold evening.

Enid, the new president, presented a bouquet of flowers to Jean, the past president, thanking her for all her work over the past few years.

There followed a quiz and a game of feeling and guessing objects in a box, provided by Penny. Father Christmas arrived in festive mood with a sack full of presents, which he distributed to each lady with a kiss.

After the raffle and some carol singing, it was time to go home.
