The Christmas Whist Drive was held in the village hall on the first Wednesday of December with six tables in play. Mr A C Clark was MC.
First with a score of 170 was Mrs Daphne Allen. Second, one trick behind, was Arthur Clark and third on 165 was John Huggins.
Fourth was Brian Cardy, fifth was Gwen and sixth was Basil Eves.
The Snowball was not won.
Approximately £70 was raised for village hall funds.
