GREEN WASTE COLLECTION
The last collection of garden waste this year at the corner of Rectory Road is on Saturday November 24, from 8.45 to 9.15am.
MILITARY WHIST DRIVE
A military whist drive was held in the village hall on the second Wednesday of November. Mr A C Clark was MC.
Equal first, each with 29 flags, were the tables of Mrs Pat Clark, Miss Rita Ellis, Mrs Lorraine Bradley and Basil Eves, with John and Janet Huggins, Mrs Sylvia Brown and Mrs Kathleen Smith.
Winners of other prizes were Mrs Kathleen Smith, John Huggins and Mrs Pat Clark.
