There will be a charity barn dance in aid of the Willow Foundation at Woodham Walter Village Hall on Saturday November 24.
Tickets for the event, which will run from 7.30pm to 11pm, will cost £5 - call 01621 859202 or 01245 223781 to book. Please bring your own food and drink on the night.
WHIST DRIVE
A whist drive was held in the village hall on the first Wednesday of October. There were three-andthree- quarter tables in play and Mr A C Clark was MC.
First equal, with scores of 169, were Mrs Pearl Miles and Basil Eves. Third, with 166, was Mrs Joyce Parrott. The consolation was shared between Mrs Margaret Arrell and Mrs Lorraine Bradley. The snowball was not won.
Winners of other prizes were Mrs joyce Parrott and Mrs Sylvia Brown.
