On Sunday August 26, please return to Bell Meadow for another day of crafts, displays and demonstrations, organised by the Bell Meadow Village Association, running from 1pm until 5pm, followed by live music from 5pm until 8pm.

There will be the sounds of Sixties and Seventies soul band, Trial of the Chicago Eight, playing to the audience on the slope.

There will be something for all the family, including stalls, competitions, refreshments, crafts and games. There will also be a soft toy tombola and barrow of booze run by the Primary School PTA.

St Michael's Church is providing music and refreshments in the church. The Women's Club is running the usual cake stall and tombola.

A lot of help will be needed before, on and after the event, with setting up, manning the gates, car park, stands, and clearing up on Monday.

If you have any free time, it would be greatly appreciated.

Contact Jacky on 01245 222595, or give details to the Queen Vic or The Bell.

WOMEN'S CLUB

The Founders' Day outing on Thursday August 9 is to the Walton Hall Museum of Memorabilia at Linford, for an afternoon of browsing around the many interesting items and visiting the bakery to make bread, followed by afternoon tea.

We also look forward to seeing everyone at the Rural Celebration and hope you will visit the cake stall and tombola!
