A SOUTH Woodham Ferrers primary school has been rated good across the board by a education watchdog just two years after being told it required improvement.
Collingwood Primary School in Collingwood Road has been rated “good” by Ofsted following an inspection in April.
Inspectors found that leadership and management, quality of teaching, learning and assessment, personal behaviour, development and welfare, outcomes for pupils and early years provision were all good.
The report said: “The headteacher, with excellent support from senior leaders and strong support from governors, has successfully driven improvement forward since the last inspection.
“The school has greatly improved.”
