Maldon Air Cadets have welcomed nine new recruits.
The newcomers were welcomed to squadron following an open evening last October.
Since then, the Cadets have been working hard, attending parade nights two evenings a week to complete their initial training.
After four months they are qualified in navigation, airmanship, foot drill, practical knowledge in the RAF and Cadet-related subjects.
Last week, the nine Cadets were enrolled by the Squadron Padre, David Atkins, and the Commanding Officer, Pilot Officer Mike Jelley.
Maldon Air Cadets will be holding a recruitment open evening on March 15 for children aged 12 to 17. Visit maldonaircadets.org.uk, search on Facebook or e-mail Pilot Officer Mike Jelley at oc.1207@aircadets.org
