The sun glowed down throughout the Maldon Art Trail as visitors ventured throughout the town to explore all things creative.
During its 8th year running, works from Maldon’s local artists were displayed in shops, cafes and public buildings across the town.
Organiser Michelle Lamarre feels the week’s displays offered a rich mix of talent, providing guests the opportunity to explore pockets of the town otherwise unseen.
She said: “The heat was astonishing and perfect for the event.
“It created a great setting for residents and visitors to see the shops they’d otherwise not go into.
“We’ve had some great feedback.
“The Young People’s Craft Workshop was busier than last year – we must have had several hundred people through the door.”
