A youth team football manager was punched twice in the face twice after a row broke out following a match in Burnham.
Burnham Ramblers Under 14s were playing at home to Great Leighs Youth Team when the assault followed the match.
The Great Leighs team manager suffered a cut lip and painful jaw.
It is understood that bad language had been used towards youngsters during the game, which Burnham won 2-0.
Police are appealing for witness following the punch up on May 10.
