A team preparing to row the Atlantic are embarking on a 36-hour practice row, across the North Sea.
Burnham-based team Ocean Reunion, made up of Joe Barnett, 24 and Gus Barton, Jack Mayhew, and Angus Collins, all 25, plan to cross the Atlantic in 28 weeks time and are training hard.
On Monday they will set off at 4am from Southwold to row to Scheveningen, Holland, in a journey which could take anywhere between 36 and 48 hours.
The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in December will see them row across the Atlantic, from the Canary Islands to Antigua, facing 50ft waves along the way.
They are fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the Teenage Cancer Trust and hope to raise £100,000 for the charities.
