Carters vintage fair returns to Maldon this half term
A vintage funfair will be returning to Maldon.
The well-known Carters Steam Fair will be coming to Promenade Park this Saturday (May 23), with a free fireworks display at about 9pm.
The fair will be based at the park until Sunday, May 31.
It will be operating daily throughout half term from 11am -7pm and 11am - 10pm on Saturday.
Carters operates and maintains a large collection of rides and side stalls, ranging in date from the late 19th century to the 1960s.
Every season they travel with vintage heavy lorries and traditional showman's living wagons.
There will many traditional rides such as swing boats, steam gallopers, a vintage arcade, dodgems, helter skelter, and much more.
