Devon has been crowned Miss Essex
A South Woodham woman has been crowned Miss Essex 2015 and will progress to Miss England.
Victorious Devon Mayson beat her competitors to the title.
Devon, 22, competed in several different stages, including an interview on stage, at the Genting Club, Westcliff, to come out on top as Miss Essex.
The singer-songwriter and model, who studied psychology at Coventry University, was shocked when she was named as winner at the event two weeks ago.
Devon of South Woodham Ferrers, only found out about the competition two days before.
She will compete in Miss England in August.
