Anniversary celebrations were in order at Maylandsea Primary School.
To mark 25 years of the school, pupils buried a time capsule containing their work, which illustrated what they were learning, their uniform and the activities they enjoy doing.
A drone was also flown around the school to capture images as part of the celebrations.
Headteacher Nick Rudman said: "It was a lovely day and one we hope children and staff will remember."
