There were spots galore and superheroes flying to the rescue as children donned their best costumes and outfits to raise money for Children in Need.
St Francis Primary School, in London Road, Maldon, was filled with spots of all shapes and sizes as their pupils battled it out in an art competition in aid of the charity and tried to impress the mayor of Maldon, Stephen Nunn, who arrived to judge the artwork.
Heybridge Primary School, in Rowan Drive, also held a spotty day while superheroes, including Ironman, Batman, Superman and Spiderman, all took over Tollesbury School in East Street, to try and raise money for the charity.
