A petite mum has shown her strength after competing in the Iron Man world championship in Hawaii.
Julia Bourn of Church Street, Goldhanger, stands just 5ft 2 and weighs less than eight stone but ran, swam and cycled the testing 140 mile triathlon in Kailua Kona after qualifying at the Iron Man challenge in Bolton earlier this year.
The testing competition involved a 2.4 mile ocean swim, a 112 mile cycle ride and a marathon, all in 30 degree heat.
