Dozens of residents turned out to view a proposal for 180 homes in Burnham.
Developer Charles Church held a consultation event at Ormiston Rivers Academy last Wednesday on its plans for a new housing estate on land north of Maldon Road.
A Charles Church spokesman said: “We had a good turnout and I would like to thank everyone for attending our consultation café event last week.
“A total of 135 local residents came to talk to us, with a number of others taking the opportunity to submit comments online through our website. “We will take time to review the feedback and discuss ways in which this can be incorporated in our proposals before submission.”
